# About Ionex

## What is Ionex?

Ionex is more than just a decentralized exchange (DEX). It is a liquidity marketplace and trading hub on the Plasma blockchain. Users can seamlessly swap tokens, provide liquidity to earn $INX, and steer emission flows to optimize trading revenue, all while participating in a platform built around community governance and DAO collaboration.
