# Ionex Points

The Ionex Points powers user participation across the ecosystem through a dynamic points-based system.

Every on-chain action earns points, which accumulate toward a future airdrop capped at 20% of the total $INX supply.

The goal is simple: reward early traders, liquidity providers, and community participants who help build Ionex from the ground up.

### How Points Are Computed

Points are earned through three main activities:

1. **Trading Activity**
2. **Liquidity Provision**

4. **Community Badges** (Coming soon)

Each category contributes to your total point balance. The higher your activity and contribution to protocol growth, the more you earn.

Trading is the core of Ionex. Every perpetual trade generates points based on **trading volume**.<br>

* Every executed trade earns points proportional to the volume traded.
* Points accumulate continuously.
* Points are distributed proportionally to your share of total volume during the campaign.

### 2. Liquidity Provision

Liquidity is the backbone of Ionex markets. By providing liquidity and staking LP tokens, users earn points similar to a pre-mining phase.

Each pool has a multiplier, reflecting its impact on the ecosystem.

The more you provide and the longer you stay staked, the more points you accumulate.

### 3. Community Badges (*Coming soon*)

Ionex is developing a program to reward Plasma-native protocols and aligned communities.

### Points → Airdrop

All earned points contribute toward a potential airdrop representing up to 20% of the total $INX token supply.

* Your share of the airdrop will be proportional to your total points at the campaign’s conclusion.
* The airdrop acts as the core incentive engine, aligning individual actions with collective protocol success.
* Final distribution details will be announced closer to the airdrop event.
